CALL THE MIDWIFE

IF you are trying to conceive:

Midwives give resources on fertility awareness, nutritional advise, help with diet and lifestyle changes to help you achieve a healthy pregnancy.

IF you think you are pregnant:

Midwives are educators, we don't just offer free pregnancy tests and consultation, we can connect you with the resources you need to have a healthy baby. Prenatal care early on is essential. Lab testing, referrals for sonogram and specialists as needed.

IF you think you are in labor:

These are the reasons to contact your midwife at anytime during your pregnancy

Pressure in the pelvic region, backache, discharge of blood, water or mucus, contractions that are painful (10 or more per hour are too many even if they don't hurt).

IF you are having symptoms of Illness or any complication of pregnancy:

Headache that wont let up, fever, pain or visual disturbances, symptoms of a cold or flu, sharp pains in your abdomen or any concern.

IF you want to breastfeed your baby:

Midwives provide help with lactation through hands on instruction and support.  Breast milk is the perfect food for baby but doesn’t always go perfectly for mom.  We offer tips and breastfeeding aids that will make it the best experience for you and your baby.
